Your First VisitAt your initial appointment with Dr. Sadlon, expect a comprehensive exam. He will perform an oral cancer screening exam, check your gums for signs of periodontal disease and each tooth for existing dental work and decay. He will ask questions about your medical and dental history, as well as your expectations and goals for future dentistry. Dr Sadlon uses digital X-Rays and intraoral photos projected on a chairside monitor to teach patients about their oral health. He can show you where problems exist, and then explain how he recommends you have them corrected. Your questions and concerns are valid, so we invite you to discuss whatever is on your mind. Dr. Sadlon believes that the more you know about your treatment plan, and the better you understand your situation, the easier it will be for both of you to work together to follow through with the optimal care for your dental needs. |
LASER DENTISTRYWe are pleased to announce that we have recently acquired a dental laser for our office. This laser is designed to treat both teeth and gums, allowing us to offer our patients a variety of exciting new treatment options. We are proud to be among the first of a growing number of dental offices nationwide to acquire this breakthrough laser technology. One of the most exciting new treatments we can offer with this laser is pain free cavity preparations without anesthetic injections and numbness. While the laser does not replace the dental drill in every case, when it does, you will love the absence of the drill whine and vibration! This laser also allows us to treat gum (periodontal) disease right in our office. The treatment is a gentle and effective way to stop the damage being done by the infection in the gums. Patients who have had this form of laser treatment report that they have little or no discomfort after the procedure. |
